Join us in Moseley for a feel-good day celebrating all things sewing, creativity and community 💛
The Big G&G Sewcial is our annual get-together for makers of all kinds — whether you love dressmaking, crafting, or simply being around creative people, you’re so welcome to come along. It’s a relaxed, friendly day to meet like-minded creatives, share inspiration and enjoy being part of this brilliant community.
We’ll kick things off with welcome refreshments at The Hive, before exploring a lovely Makers Market at The Moseley Exchange and spending time at the Guthrie & Ghani shop — with plenty of opportunities to chat, browse and soak up the creative atmosphere throughout the day.
Back at G&G, we’ll also have a pattern & fabric swap and a tombola, all in support of three wonderful charities:
💛 The Square Peg Charity – providing disabled children and their families with a safe, inclusive play space
💛 St Basils – supporting young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
💛 Anawim – supporting women affected by vulnerability and disadvantage
🕙 10am – 4pm
💛 Drop in anytime — stay as long as you like
🧵 Open to all creatives — come solo or with friends
We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate this amazing creative community together.

About this workshop
What’s happening this year?
The Moseley Hive -10:00am-12:00PM - Event kicks off with opportunity to grab a drink, meet fellow sewists and catch up. Learn more about our chosen charity for this year's event. Refreshments by donation - cash only
The Moseley Exchange - 10:00am-4:00PM - Creators Market, showcasing local makers and artisans.
Guthrie & Ghani - 10:00am-5:00PM
- Charity Tombola upstairs in the studio - Cash only.
- Charity Raffle - tickets available to buy online or in cash on the day. The raffle will be drawn during the week after the event and winners notified by email.
- Fabric & Pattern Swap – bring your unused fabric and patterns to swap with fellow makers! ️
- Garment swap - bring along your handmade garments you no longer want and see them go to a new owner
- Badge making
- Refreshments by donation
The tombola, raffle and any donations will be donated to our chosen charity
